Dr Felix M. Wunner, supervised by Distinguished Prof Dietmar W. Hutmacher and Dr Elena De-Juan Pardo, was recently awarded with a QUT Outstanding Thesis Award for his PhD thesis titled “Design and development of an additive manufacturing technology platform for melt electrospinning writing: A systems engineering approach”. The award recognises an outstanding contribution to science and engineering, and places Dr Wunner among the top 5% of successful doctoral candidates at QUT in 2018. Dr Wunner’s PhD work features several high impact publications in prestigious journals including Advanced Materials. Dr Wunner also contributed to several high quality research articles published in Nature Protocols, Advanced Drug Delivery Reviews, ACS Applied Materials and Interfaces during his candidature.
